epic.
always did like quizzes and stuff... and my bible characters/stories comes out as david and goliath. I'm always like. yeah yeaaah sure. that's cause i'm small. yeah i know. i can fight giants. sure.

but whoa. read it recently and couldn't put the book down.
the boy tends sheep! and he owned a giant! even when people belittled him.

& in v39 - he refused to put on the armor, helmet, tunic and sword because.... he wasn't used to them.
who ever notices that sentence.
then he goes and chooses 5 stones. what man. lol.

what are you used to? who do u know you are and what you can achieve....
all that, because you know who your God is huh...

v48 - he runs up to the battle line to meet the giant.
v51 - the enemy turns around and runs, and the men of Israel pursues them to the entrance of Gath.
[i raged at this verse. hahar. get ya thinking..]

and then. despite all this....
King David writes a psalm - 6:6 I am worn out from sobbing. All night I flood my bed with weeping, drenching it with my tears.

why?
it may look like you have everything, but yet.. there are times when you might not have it all tgr.
- ok, fine. i have more research to do on David.

but the side note that came with it, was being honest before God. It wasn't really just crying. "here's my pride; here's my shame" - i have got a whole new revelation on all that man. hahaha better left for another day.
