♪ ghosts of paraguay
im so excited. 2013. u are going to be epic. b/c we all survived the zombie apocalypse.
God is awesome. He gently pushed me into plans for the summer hols. ya know. i thought i was gonna stay here over summer, find a job/internship (a lot of work yo --") and on top of all that, i had accommodation worries.
guess what. 99% of what i had in my human brain ... CHANGED. and i believe, for the better.
- Accommodation - done. back at briggs. no regrets. love my friends
- Brisbane trip - no go. He gave me the foresight that I shouldn't take that up. true enough - there's greater things.
- Job - NO. didn't manage to move into the city
- SUMMER SCHOOL!! - family law assistance program. WOW. it's my one and only chance to do it this summer. it is not offered in 2013.
- Internship - so i guess not!
- && big surprise. i booked tix back t the motherland $500 return. somewhere else - $52 (flight tix are actually only $11). & $300 for another.
Wow. and...!! booked my flights before they sent the placements letters for FLAP (family law) i didn't know they were in JAN!!! because lects start/end by middle dec.
so i am glad things worked out. i still have to wait for placement confirmations BUT i believe i can secure a spot in my first preference. It is a 1 out of 4 chance. but i photoshoped the form and sent it back within 2-3hours. Dear God, it's in Your hands. Thank you.
How many times, have i broken Your heart? But still You come through for me...
also, i am excited and think it is a good decision. Really excited to be energised before a new school year. i've been so drained and slack this yr man. LOL
although i'm not going anywhere epic like KRABI, PHUKET or FIJI. whatever.
let's do this.
